Winter Months

This has been a long winter. I know that we are not out of the woods yet but I must admit these past days of 45 degrees and sun have been a nice break. It starts to make me think of all the things that have happened over the past months. Holidays come and gone, busy work load, test taking, painting, birthdays, Celine, LOST, Gordon Ramsey,Rock Band and the best is yet to come Hawaii in 7 days!

Every day just moves along and now we are almost into March. I remember thinking in the midst of storm and snow, "I can't wait till March" and here it is just days away. As the weather warms and the days are longer I can't wait to see the changes from dull, flat, muddy ground to green grass, colorful flowers, and fragrant air. I am thankful that the winter is almost done, that soon I will be able to sit on the patio and take it all in. Those quiet moments enjoying the beauty of it all. I am grateful that I have made it through the winter and now I see the light at the end of the tunnel.

It is easy to reflect on the good times I've had over these last months they are memories that I will not forget. Simple things that make me so grateful for the life we have.

Even in the winter snow you can find beauty.
